he knew what he was doing.
here in atlanta we have a talk show host named Neal Boortz . he has been talking about Cindy Sheehan who lost her son in the war. she at one time liked the president but now that her son has died in the war her oppinion has changed. during the show there is a lot of people calling in and getting mad at her. they are saying that her son new what he was doing when he joined.
there are a lot of vets that are calling in also and they are mad at her. let me say this. i am a vet also and as far as her son knowing what he was getting in to, i am not so sure that he did. he might have thought he did but when you get over there thats when you find out how things really are. i beleive freedom is not free and we have to fight to keep it. it would be nce if we had the luxury to sit back and the whole world would get along. it's not going to happen though.
i live in the states and was born here and thats where i want to live. that is my choice. others live inother countries and they like it fine and that is great for them and i do not want them to change their mind. i do think that if the united states had not gone in to world war 2 we would be speaking japaneese or german now and would not be free.
if the wrong country goes to war and wins over what ever country they attack then they usually do not try to help that country. they do not try to rebuild that country if they get control. what they do is take that countries resources. they tell the people what to do and when to do it. they do not stay for a while and then pull out. they stay until another country comes in and takes what they have conquered. if hilter had conquered the united states do you think he would have given it back. if he conquered us and there were other countries he had not conquered do you think he would have stopped? i doubt it. if we just let him take country after country until we were the only one left there would be no chance of stopping him then. i know some one will take issue with what i am writing but thats the way i feel.
i like blogging but i know that a lot of people do not think like i do. in some things we can agree to disagree. if some one gets to offended then i know they have plenty of other blogs to read.
