update on mrsh.
part one
hello all my friends. i just wanted to update you on what is going on. mrsh. is home with me again. at present we are trying to get another doctor. we have what they call an hmo plan. at the beginning of each year we have to pick what insurance plan we want. hmo is the cheapest. at that time they give you a list of doctors who are on the hmo plan and you have to pick one of them to be your primary physician. if you need to go to a doctor you have to go to him or her first. if he can not help you then he will refer you to another doctor in the hmo plan. you can change the primary doctor but you have to notify your hmo provider first and then the following month you can go to the new doctor. this hmo plan is a blue cross and blue shield hmo plan. the regular bcbs plan is better in that you can see whom you want but you pay twice as much in your monthly payments plus there is a larger deductible. any way we went online and got a list of the doctors that we can use and we are going to pick one of them and make an appointment. we was only in the hospital 2 days and right away it was all messed up. the right hand had no idea of what the left hand was doing. i found that out in the emergency room before we even got assigned a room. one thing they did in the e.r. was give my wife a drug that was almost as strong as morphine and at that time they did not know what she had. well it killed the pain all right but it knocked her out. after returning from a cat scan the doctor had to shake her and poke her while yelling her name to just wake her up. i got scared and thought she was in a coma. they seem to act like all senior citizens are dummies . she asked her doctor two questions and he got mad. at one point he said we have to take a test to see if her arteries were clogged and she told him they already did. he said, "they did? " "i didn't see that on the computer." now according to them my wife had a stroke but i am not so sure. her speech was the same and she was not paralyzed. the doctor even said that was unusual. i could tell you a lot more but it just makes me mad talking about it. i was glad to get her out of there to tell you the truth. i could run things better i think. talk about lack of communication. if my friend walker was writing this i have no doubt you would have some triple x words to read. as time goes on my site may go that way also especially on this topic. just giving you all a warning just in case. well that's it for today and i will tell you more tomorrow. take care and thanks for all the nice comments and concern about mrsh.
